I have been coming to this place since I was a little girl, having been family friends with the owners. I've always said if I were to get married, this is where it would happen. And last October that dream came true. We are fortunate enough to know the owners, who made this all come true for us. We were able to have the whole shebang at one venue. We got married outside overlooking the water and then had our reception and dance inside. It was so beautiful, and they were so accommodating with everything. It really was the perfect day at the perfect place!

The Evandale Resort was our reception site of choice, for our wedding on September 10, 2016! The staff was friendly and helpful at all times. The owner and event planner were always just a click or call away, and they were very understanding of the fact that I wasn’t living close by while planning. The staff set everything up, helped take things down, and the space was gorgeous. Our buffet meal was delicious (I’m still raving about the soup… and I don’t even like soup!), and all of our guests were thrilled with the appetizer and punch greeting upon their arrival. My husband and I were encouraged to take photos throughout the building, although our reception was technically centered in the formal dining room. The amenities provided by the Resort were key in our decision to choose the site. The Resort also offers comfortable and affordable accommodations for guests traveling out of town, or for those who know they will be dancing the night away well beyond their bed time. I would recommend this site to any bride searching for a historic and beautiful location along the Saint John River. Fees were very affordable, and the view was spectacular!

The Evandale Resort gave us the perfect venue for our wedding. We were married outside overlooking the water and had our reception and dance inside.
The staff was extremely helpful in ensuring we had the perfect wedding, and the grounds and interior provided beautiful and romantic settings for pictures. We had our wedding party rent the rooms and in the morning enjoyed a delicious breakfast. I highly recommend the Evandale as a Wedding Venue. It's beautiful and everything can be done onsite; from the vows to the dance. It really was a perfect day. Terena |
